Nipah virus has been confirmed again in the state. The young man died a few days ago. The preliminary list says that 151 people had direct contact with this person. It is likely to rise further. Most of these are those who participated in the posthumous ceremonies of the young man. Similarly, he was affected by work and sought treatment in two private hospitals. Here too many people must have come to the contact box.

The National Institute of Virology in Pune has confirmed that the death of the young man was caused by Nipah. Now the district administration has imposed restrictions on the area. Apart from this, two persons suffering from fever have been shifted to the hospital in Thiruvalli. The young man was diagnosed with Nipah virus during a test conducted at the Kozhikode Medical College. Later it was sent to Pune for official confirmation.

People’s representatives and health department officials of Tiruvalli had a meeting when the initial test was positive. A warning was given that there was a large fire in the area. Mask wearing is mandatory in this area.

He was a student in Bangalore. His age was only 23 years. He came to the middle house on the 22nd. By the 5th, the fever had set in. He was seeking treatment at a private hospital in Vandoor. When the fever increased, the treatment was shifted to a private hospital in Perinthalmanna. The young man died on the last ninth day. There has been a large amount of contact with the young man in the area and in hospitals. Many people have also attended the posthumous ceremony of the young man. Therefore, the contact list is likely to increase. A few days ago, a 14-year-old boy from Pandikkad also died due to Nipah in July.
