Manjummal Boyz is the topic of discussion outside of South India. Manjummal Boyz directed by Chidambaram did hundred percent justice to the survival thriller genre. Now Srinath Bhasi has opened up about the most troubled time in his career. In an interview given to the YouTube channel FTQ with Rekha Menon, Srinath Bhasi talked about the situation he was going through when the role of Subhash approached him. The actor revealed how his life was when he was asked what was going through his mind while acting in Manjummal Boys. 'The role of Subhash came to me when I too was stuck like Subhash. I was totally stuck at that point.'

'Whether in career or in life. That was the time I was changed from a movie. Maybe it was because I was afraid of running away if such a big film was made with me or because I didn't talk to anyone. I was changed when everyone was talking together. Later I thought why I am the only one who has changed.” I left the set when I thought I could talk to everyone on the phone in the car. That's when my friends handed me Manjummal Boys. The time I traveled after Manjummal Boys movie was also a therapy for me. After reacting in the interview that day, I went and apologized. Many people said that I was acting well when I cried at that time.'
'That is how the interpretation came. With that, I realized that it is not necessary to talk, but to show through action. Struggles never end. But because Manjummal Boys came I was able to deal with that situation. You can't ask Subhshetan of Manjummal Boys about his experience.'Once I asked him, 'Don't you ask me, Bhasi,' he said, 'I can't sleep at night.' Before shooting the film, Manjummal went with the Manjummal boys to the festival.' 'It is a blessing to be able to be the character in Manjummal Boys. Except for Soubinika, no one would have made such a film with us for so much money. And my friends were able to make such a good film with a madman like me,' says the star.
