Omar Lulu says he approves of Santosh Pandit who makes a film for just five lakh rupees and releases it. I always say… Santosh Pandit made a film for five lakh rupees. I am a person who accepts him. If you take the same five lakhs and give it to Prithviraj and tell him to make a film, Prithviraj will look at me. I agree with Shachad Pandit because he made a film for five lakh rupees. He got his wish. Whatever the product may be, the film was released in a timely fashion. Aren’t the films costing crores of rupees still sitting in the box… Even if the film directed by him is released, isn’t it a success for him?
Another thing is that before going to mark that film, we should think that it is a five lakh rupee film. Omar Lulu said that he should be congratulated for having done it with so many limitations. Later, Omar Lulu revealed what he had to experience when he went out to make a film. Then we have to make many compromises. Where a serious fight is supposed to take place, only a small push and shove has to be filmed and ended. When the story was written, a serious fight was planned.
