Chimpu is a well known actor among Malayalees. He is one of the famous actors in Tamil cinema. Chimpu played the lead role in the movie Vinnai Thandi Varuvaya, which was a super hit in Kerala. Ishwaran is the latest movie starring Chimpu. The shooting of the film started earlier this year. But soon the shooting was stopped due to the coronavirus situation. Then shooting resumed last week. The problem now is that a live snake was used for the movie. The teaser video shows a snake being grabbed from a tree and carried in a sack. It is said that this video was taken from the location of the movie Ishwaran. But no official information has been received so far.
Chimpu used an Indian cobra snake for the film. Prior permission from the Animal Welfare Board is required to use this snake. It is now alleged that the shooting was carried out without receiving it. Similar allegations were leveled against Vijay starrer Mersal before the shoot with the snake. Those scenes were later removed from the film.
