Megastar Mammootty’s new film Kannur Squad has entered the 100 crore club and continues to run. Meanwhile, the megastar has now come up with an announcement that will bring happiness to the fans.
The release date of the new film Kathal has been announced. The movie will hit the theaters on November 23.
The film is directed by Jio Baby with Mammootty and Jyothika in lead roles. Mammootty fans have taken the release date and say that the next 100 crore film is coming.
Meanwhile, ‘Kathal’ will be screened at the Goa International Film Festival. The exhibition is in the Indian Panorama Feature category. Kathal will also be screened at the Kerala International Film Festival which will be held from December 8 to 15. The film will be screened in the category Malayalam Cinema Today.
Mammootty will play the role of Mathew Devasi in Kathal. The character played by Jyothika is Devasi’s partner. Jyothika is returning to Malayalam after a long break.
The film is written by Adarsh Sukumaran and Paulson Zakaria and the cinematography is handled by Salu K Thomas. Produced by Mammootty, the film is distributed by Dulquer Salmaan’s Wayfarer Films.
