A tiger rescued by the forest department from a well in Kannur Peringathur has died. The tiger, which was lying in the well, was caught with drugs and put in a cage. After a while, the tiger was found dead.
The post-mortem of the tiger will be conducted in Wayanad tomorrow. The tiger was drugged by a team led by Dr. Ajesh Mohandas from Wayanad.
After the tiger fell into the well, it was half raised with a net and then drugged. After being taken out of the well and transferred to the cage, the tiger’s health deteriorated and the tiger succumbed to death.

Meanwhile, the tiger fell into the well last night. The tiger traveled about 20 km from the forest border and reached the inhabited area of Peringathur. It fell into the well of the house at night.
