Maradu police has arrested a group of four, for threatening actress Shamna Kasim and trying to nab money from her. The arrested ones have been identified as, Sarath, Ashraf, Rafeeq, and Ramesh – all from Thrissur. It was over the complaint filed by Shamna’s mother that Maradu Police started investigation and arrested the group. In the complaint, the actress’s mother further said that the group asked her daughter a sum of INR 1 lakh and threatened that if not given, they would destroy the career of the actress.
It is also said that the gang had tried to take the picture of Shamna’s house and mentally tortured the family. While police is questioning the group, more information is expected to follow in the coming hours.
