Transgenders protest in front of Rajinikanth’s residence during Corona virus lockdown. Earlier transgenders in the Puliyanthope area of Chennai had asked him for financial aid. Reports suggest that the protest is linked to that incident.
A team of 8 members reached Rajinikanth’s residence at Poes Garden, Chennai. The protest ended after Rajani’s wife, Latha, handed over Rs.5000 to the transgenders. Reports say that no police case filed on the incident.
Meanwhile Rajini had given Rs.50 lakh to help the daily wages workers of the film industry, those who struggling during the lock down days.
