Trisha Krishnan is one of the leading actresses in the South since the early 2000s. And now according to latest buzz, the actress is all set to enter politics. She is likely to join the Congress party.
As Khushbu, the leading actress in Tamil, has jumped from the Congress to the BJP, Trisha Krishnan’ credit will be refreshing for the party. It is also reported that Thalapathy Vijay is encouraging Trisha to join politics.
However, the official confirmation is yet to be made by Trisha.
On the work front, Trisha Krishnan is playing a key role in upcoming epic period action film ‘Ponniyin Selvan: I’ which is based on Tamil writer Kalki’s popular epic novel, helmed by Mani Ratnam. It is slated for release in theatres on 30th September.
