Twitter has made some marked changes in an attempt to create a more favorable environment for news reports. Earlier, the micro blogging site had introduced a dedicated news tab, followed by creating a feature, called ‘trending tweet’. Now, the company has gone for further tweaks to its algorithms, as a result of which, the platform would start highlighting the tweets made by the people, which one follows in Twitter, appear more prominently.
The highlighted story section would start featuring all the tweets made by a network of people, whom you follow. The first batch of users, who are going to experience this feature, would be on iOS platform. Followed by this, Twitter would roll out the feature across Android and Web platforms.
