National Commission for Women member Khushbu Sundar criticized the success of Ranbir Kapoor starrer 'Animal'.
Khushbu said that if a misogynistic film like 'Animal' has become one of the biggest box office hits, one has to think about the mindset of people.
Khushbu says that her daughters advised her not to watch the film, so she did not watch it.
At the same time, Khushbu Sundar stated that he has no grudge against the director of the film, Sandeep Reddy Vanka, except for criticizing the plot of the movie Animal, because his only goal is the success of the film.
“As a member of the National Commission for Women, I have seen many cases of harassment, marital rape, etc. despite being illegal.
If misogynist films like 'Animal' become one of the biggest box office collections, we have to think about the mindset of the people who make it successful.

I disagree with Kabir Singh and Arjun Reddy. But I don't blame the director because his aim is only the success of the film.
Movies show what is happening in the society. People watch and celebrate movies like 'Animal' even when we all preach respect for women.
I didn't want my daughters to watch this movie, but they did so they could see what was in it. They came back and told me mom please don't watch this movie. I wonder where our society will go if the audience sees such films succeeding.” Khushbu says.
At the same time, there have been similar criticisms against the film from many. The criticism was that a film that is so anti-women has not been released recently.
But despite the criticism, the film was a success at the box office. Animal is a film starring Ranbir Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Rashmika Mandana, Anil Kapoor and others.
Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanka, the film was a huge hit at the box office despite being criticized for its violence and misogyny.
