Soon after launching the MIUI 9 ROM in India, Xiaomi has announced an updated MIUI 9.5. The Chinese giant has informed that it has started off rolling out MIUI 9.5 on selected smartphones. Reports suggested that it was Redmi Note 3 Special Edition, which has received the update first. Further then, the update will then be rolled out into the following devices – Redmi Note 4/4X, Redmi 4A, Redmi 5 Plus, Mi Max and Mi Max Prime.
The updates will be rolled out to the devices via OTA. It must be mentioned right here that, MIUI 9.5 is still based on Android 7.0 Nougat.
