Superstar Yash on Friday visited Kerala for the promotion of his upcoming film ‘KGF 2’, directed by Prashanth Neel. The film is all set to hit theatres on April 14 in Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, Hindi and Kannada.
Prithviraj Productions will distribute the film in Malayalam.
Yash and Srinidhi Shetty first attended a press meet in Kochi’s Marriott Hotel and then headed to LuLu Mall, Edapally for the grand promotion of ‘K.G.F.: Chapter 2’.

Yash said at press meet, “Malayalam industry has always set an example. I believe both Malayalam and Kannada industry can relate to each other because we are not here just to showcase the showbiz or big-scale films; we respect the content, the effort and we believe in our culture and originality. I believe all of us should work together so that others start looking up at our industry. Malayalam cinema has paved that way, and a huge respect to all the directors and actors in Malayalam. I hope in the future we are able to join hands, and celebrate cinema.”



A week ahead of its release, the film has broken all booking sales records. Within 12 hours, approximately 1.07 lakh tickets have been sold in the Hindi belt alone with a total gross of Rs 3.35 crore, says sources. The film also stars Sanjay Dutt, Srinidhi Shetty, Raveena Tandon and Prakash Raj.
