KPAC Lalita’s first film was at the age of 22. It was in the film version of the drama Kotukutumbam directed by Topil Bhasi. Later, he appeared in many films. Now director and actor Lal Jose KPAC has come to share his memories with Lalita. Lalita has played notable roles in Lal Jose films including The Words, Elsamma Boy. If anyone has any complaints, Lalita chechi will call and tell the people concerned about it. He was free to do so. If the sister says, then there is no appeal. Chechi was such a personality. I have worked with Lalitha Chechi in many films since I was an associate director. Later, during the shooting of Vadhu Doctor, my sister called me to work as an associate with Bharathetan. It gave me great joy. Because sister Lalita felt that I am the right associate for Bharathetan, sister called me.
But unfortunately I could not work with Bharathettan. By then he was dead. After I started directing films independently, Sukumari Chechi acted in most of my films. Because all that time Lalita Chechi was busy with many films. Later Lalita Chechi acted in Elsamma Boy. My sister liked that character a lot. Even though you called me a little late, you called me for a good role and my sister said that I liked the character a lot. Lalita Chechi is someone who traveled safely alone for forty years in cinema and before that in theater when there were many problems in the film industry when there were no people to ask and talk to.
